Radio Story:

listening to STAR 98.7 flashback lunch hour with Richard Blade for a second and I heard this:

Richard- what can I play for you?
Caller (girl)- Can I hear 'There's a light that never goes out" from The Smiths?
Richard- sure...um...how old are you?
Caller- I'm 10
Richard- If I may ask, how do you know this song?
Caller- Its not for me, its for my parents...they play that song loud all the time and dance around the house. They wanted me to call.

so dope.
For those of us who have kids that age and try to influence them with the music of our day... mad props!

In influence my 7 year old girl with:
The Smiths
Tears for Fears
Guns N Roses
Erasure
Alanis
Coldplay
Psychadelic Furs
Adam Ant
U2
ABC
Spandau Ballet

you got to mix a little new with the old.

Lord know, I've got the James Taylor, Steely Dan, Eagles, Journey, Carole King in my collection. Thanks mom and dad.
